Soph did some research the other day just in case there were any special requirements we needed to be aware of in terms of visas. We were a bit concerned that this might be a bit complicated with us coming from different countries and needing to visit different embassies for paperwork. Generally it is easy for both UK and US citizens to travel throughout Latin America. Most countries will let us stay for 90 days without any issues, which will be plenty of time everywhere except Mexico. Fortunately our neighbors to the South actually allow for a 6 month stay for both of us. The visa requirements for countries can often be an indicator of international relations. Of particular note are the differences in hospitality granted to us in Panama and Bolivia.
